Feathers!

I recently bought a new stamp set from Artemio with feathers - I have been playing around with it (more posts to come featuring these stamps) today I wanted to post some birthday cards I made.

Using just one small stamp of a feather, I repeatedly stamped a pattern in blues, rust and yellow.

One card was mounted to rust colored texture paper and then embellished with masking tape and a cut-out feather. maybe too much, sometimes it's hard to stop in time...

I personally prefer the second card, no embellishments just the greeting and mounted to light blue card stock and lined in pale yellow. I am entering this card into the Runway Inspired Challeng # 42 do I have a chance?

As I cut off a bit at the top on one of the cards I used that little piece to punch out my signature rabbit to attach to the back - the card looks red in the picture, not rust, so annoying!
