For the Love of Altenew - Certified Educators Instagram Hop

Today I am super happy to take part in the very first Altenew Educators Instagram Hop, I just wanted to make a blog post as well to celebrate the occasion ;)

My cards are playing with transparency and overlapping of colors. For the first one I stamped three vases from Mod Vases, actually the small one on the right hand side that I am using as a low bowl in my arrangement is meant as the bottom part of a vase. 

Altenew Crisp Inks stamp beautifully and you can absolutely make use of their transparency to modify the colors a bit, so fun.

The ink colors used are Dew Drops, Baby Pink and Aqualicious for the vases, Evergreen for the branch from a set called Indoor Garden. The three "hello"s from Versatile Vases in Aqualicious, Fuchsia and Evergreen. Mounted on a Stone colored card base. 

For the second card I stamped vases in rainbow order in Heart Beat,  Fresh Lemon, Persian Blue, Deep Iris and Fuchsia, obtaining new colors where the stamping overlaps. The sentiment is from a set called A Splash of Color.

So which of the cards do you prefer, muted or colorful?

They are both totally me, totally CAS!
