Altenew Educator

When Altenew came out with their first stamps back in 2014 I was amazed by the layering stamps. I had been following Jen and Tasnim and I loved that they went for it and I dreamed that in one way or another, one day I will be part of that company and their story!

At the time I had a busy professional life in France and even though I had been making cards since 1996 it was very much occasional and wood mounted! I had started a blog the year before where I would post cards now and then but the purpose of that blogging wasn't really clear to me at the time.

Then we moved to the US in 2015 for my husband's job and I started buying Altenew stamps and inks on a more regular basis. I already knew the great designs but I fell in love with the inks and kept stamping on an occasional basis, still working full time.

When AECP was announced at the end of 2017 I jumped on the occasion, I applied the day after reading about it and was absolutely over the moon to be accepted into the program, this is what I had been waiting for!
I love the fact that you can do the AECP at your own pace - my crafting time is limited and I wanted to make the most of the courses and learn as much as possible.

For my final exam I taught my first ever formal card making class and the enthusiasm of my students was truly energizing and I hope to keep teaching as we move back to Europe, this time to Berlin where I will be located for the next couple of years.

I am a proud Altenew Educator!
