Love notes
I love stamping, I love color and I love combining colors of ink and paper to come up with bold combos. What I have been making these past few days is totally down that alley and these versatile love notes are some of my favorite creations lately.

I am entering the Time Out Challenge #179 "be you" with these cards as they are totally what I am about - could not be more honest!
The process is very random - I start by stamping in any colors that inspire me. I love the Altenew Crisp Inks for this because they come in so many colors and I have almost all of them :) - it is true happiness to be able to almost always find the shade that I want in my collection! Above I stamped the word in Ocean Waves and Dusk. The stamps and dies are from Concord & 9th; Love you so set which might be discontinued but is still available at some retailers.
Most of these are stamped on white card stock - winter daylight is not clement for my photos and I have not been very successful with my little photo booth... sorry about that.
This piece above was stamped in Lagoon and Emerald inks. Once I have stamped out a fair number I die cut all these into stitched squares using the die included in the set.
Then I took all the stamped squares and matched them to card stock. I recently made a big purchase from Faltkarten here in Germany - supporting local business as much as possible and this was a great project to try them out.
The card above is cut from 02 - babypink, the scalloped box from 41 - taupe (a favorite) and the arrow from 32 - grasgrün. The stamping was done in Ultramarie and Azurite.
The card above I had stamped out in two greens that I ended up not liking so I then die cut the letters from black card stock 30 - schwarz that I glued on top. You can just see the Bamboo shading behind each letter.
The red heart is a scrap of unknown paper as is the green scalloped edge. The card front however is 455 - lichtgrau (another fave) from Faltkarten.
This one has stamping in Dusk and Desert Night, the scallop square is 32 - grasgrün and the card base is 23 - steingrau.

All in all I made 15 cards (4x4 inches or 10x10 cm). They can of course be used for valentines but in my opinion they are super versatile - who does not love receiving a love note at any occasion?
Let me know in the comments which is your favorite combo!

This post made me smile so much-not just because of your wonderful notes but of how much of 'YOU' they represent-the bold, bright colours and the way you go with whatever colour inspires you at the time-so interesting to see. I like how each one you added a different accent and how bold each one is. I am a purple lover but I am drawn to the Lime and Red one-really like that vibrancy! Thanks for joining Time Out and sharing more of 'YOU' with us x
