Snowy day

Today I have a card and a page for my 2019 calendar, both inspired by the snowfall over the past 24 hours.
I grew up in Sweden and we had plenty of snow in the winter so I just love it when we get the occasional snowy episode in northern Virginia where I currently live.

I stamped the New York image from Sketchy Cities America in Silver Stone ink, both from Altenew. The sentiment was added with a wood mounted stamp from A Muse Artstamps in black Versamark ink and then the fun began!

The snowfall was created with white Texture Paste from Ranger through a stencil from Alexandra Renke called Falling Snow.
I love the effect!

As I have been working on my 2019 calendar I decided to add a night scene with snow fall as well.

I added two layers of the Altenew's City Scene Stencil in Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide, then added Blueprint Sketch all over and Black Soot at the top of the page.

It looks quite a bit like what I saw out of my window last night :)

I am entering this into two challenges:
Addicted to CAS,  Codeword Snowflake Challenge 150
Simply Less is More, Water Challenge 386

And finally a hello from me in the snow today, I hope you are having a fun weekend!
