Autumn leaves in many colors

My husband was traveling to the US recently so I ordered some goodies from Concord and 9th for him to pick up for me. Lucky me!

These cards feature the Autumn Hues Turnabout Stencil Pack and the Big on You Stamp and coordinating Big on You Dies.

On this card I used Altenew Crisp Inks in two shades of turquoise, an orangey yellow and a chocolate ink. Gold embossed the sentiment and attached to the front. The rickrack brown card in the background came out of my stash - this came from Paper Source a long time ago.

My kind friend Jana gifted me with four of the Concord an 9th ink cubes recently so I decide to go for this totally random combo and I love this version! Colors are Midnight, Oceanside, Honeysuckle and Grapefruit. Heat embossed sentiment using Platinum powder. Again the scalloped paper is an old one from Paper Source.

I then decided I needed to get my Distress Inks out for a very colorful and happy version of this card.  Leaves can be candy colored - why not?

One thing led to another - Distress Inks = techniques so I did som ink smooshing on some watercolor paper and then went on to turn the Autumn Hues with more traditional colors. This card was mounted on craft card stock. That cute little Hello is from Create a Smile here in Germany.

These leaves do come from a pack of two stencils, the second one makes a lovely wreath. I only had time to make one wreath, again in Distress Inks. The warm word die is from the Concord and 9th Warm Wishes die set. This is set is on aLast Chance sale at 50% off right now!

I hope you are having a wonderful autumn with some lovely foliage to inspire your creative venues! What do you think of mine?

Hugs,
Helen
