Happy Birthday Sunshine
Today I have a birthday card featuring Winter trees from Echo Park Designer Stamps but I made a summer forest instead of a winter scene.
I made the background by quickly blending Distress Oxides, yellow sunshine on to the green ground and blue sky around the sides.
After the background was dry I stamped the trees using my MISTI so I could over
stamp several times in Onyx black Versafine ink. Then I added the Happy Birthday from a Concord & 9th set vertically to follow the lines of the trees.

To finish the card I mounted it on to a blue card front.
I am entering this card into the Seize the Birthday Challenge #169 - Sunshine I am definitely using the Sunshine Topping!
I am also entering the card into CAS on Friday Challenge #161 use these colors even though I realize my card might not be CAS enough!
Hope you have a good week!
Hugs

Beautiful! You've really captured the look of sunshine filtering down through the trees. Thanks for linking up at Seize the Birthday!

DeleteThe glow of sunshine shining through your summer forest is just lovely, Helen ... and those graphic trees are so cool! Great idea to place the sentiment along the side of a trunk! Thanks so much for your visit and kind words! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHow kind Anita, thank you
