Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
If you hopped here from Nandini's blog you are right on track. If not, please go to the Altenew Card Blog to make sure you do not miss any of the projects being shared featuring this lovely flower set
I made two Buttercup cards today, but I decided mine would be blue rather than yellow so I suppose they are maybe anemones instead of buttercups?
I do not own any Gradient card stock from Altenew, being a long time crafter I have a lot of card stock in my stash so it's one thing that I tend not to buy. In this case I wish I had! In fact you can buy the CaF sets in a bundle including card stock, that is what I'll do next time!
I ended up using some very old paper in three shades of blue and one shade of green and I do love the resulting flowers and leaves. As you might know, I often do not add sentiments to my cards and today is no exception.
My first flower arrangement was mounted on a 3x3 inch square of Altenew Birch Wood speciality paper, this is thin sheets of actual wood mounted onto paper and it's beautiful stuff. Then on to a square card 4 and 1/4 inch made of Neenah Solar White.
The second card is very similar but this time mounted on top of a 2 and 1/2 inch square of walnut wood paper that is no longer in stock I think and this was my last remnant... This was then glued to a Pale Gray square card, same size as before.
Did you know that you can sign up for a monthly subscription plan for the Craft-A-Flower sets, this guarantees you a set at a discounted price so worth looking into!
Before hopping on to Yoonsun Hur, remember to leave a comment below for a chance to win one of the generous prizes offered by Altenew to celebrate this release.
There is a $50 gift certificate for 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners, all in all $200 up for grabs! Make sure to leave comments on all the stops of the hop before May 13, 2021.
