Rainbow world!

I hope everyone who celebrates has had a great Christmas - my husband and I did, far from our children and grand-children in France (we live in Virginia in the USA) but I was lucky enough to get some lovely, crafty presents!

One of them was this fabulous new (in November 2018) set called World Map from Altenew.

So I made a fun one layer rainbow world map using mini daubers and lovely Altenew inks in a rainbow of colors: Maple Yellow, Autumn Blaze, Heart Beat, Ruby Red, Purple Wine, Deep Iris, Dusk, Teal Cave, Emerald, Just Green.

I daubed (is that even a word?) the colors on one by one using my MISTI stamping tool and Creative Corners (also a Christmas gift) to hold my card in place. I had to over stamp several times to get good coverage but thanks to the MISTI this was not a problem

Once all colors were down I added the Hello Friend greeting in black Versafine ink and heat embossed in clear.

I love the rainbow effect.
