Tiptoe through the tulips

It feels a bit like spring in Northern Virginia today, the date is passed so come along now!

Tight rows of tulip heads were stamped in several shades of orange and red dye inks, adding the shadow layer but not the outline. Then the remaining white space was colored green with alcohol markers to represent the stems and foliage, the panel was die cut into the shape of a heart and the greeting stamped and embossed in white detail powder. Mounted the heart with a layer of craft foam to a white card base.

I am entering this card in the Altenew Inspiration Challenge for March 2018.

Also entering my card into AAA CAS Game #136

Supplies from Altenew:
Tulip stamp set
Adore you set (sentiment on heart card)
Half tone circles (sentiment on bottom card)
Crisp inks in several shades of oranges and reds
Artist marker Forest Glades
Half tone hearts dies
Versamark clear ink and white detail embossing powder from Hero Arts.

This card is directly inspired by a card I made in January of 2018, a lot of color in this one!

I hope you are having a great weekend!

Hugs,
Helen
