Altenew Mini Delight Winsome Bloom release Instagram Hop
My first card features these beautiful blooms in red - I stamped the outline in Pure Graphite dye ink on to bright red card stock, the detail layer in Vineyard Berry - you have to choose your color ink to show up on your colored card stock which can be tricky, the detail layer is very faint on my flowers in the pictures but it does show up in real life.
Then I added silver gel pen dots to the flower centers and die cut the flowers. The leaves were die cut from navy card stock, I heat embossed "smile" from the recently released Carpe Diem stamp set in white on one of them. The flowers and leaves ere then arranged on a light blue card base in a little garland fashion, two of the flowers were popped up with the Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
In the photographs my card looks grey - the weather here has been very rainy and dark these past few days and even with artificial light I was unable to get the light blue to show up...
For the second card I stamped several flowers on white card stock using Pure graphite ink for the outline and some of my lightest inks for the detail layer; Arctic, Dew Drops and Rose Quartz. I also stamped the outline on turquoise card stock. Leaves were stamped on green card stock and then all were die cut.
Before glueing down my flower garland I stamped some of the leaves using the backside of the stamp in Champagne Delicata ink on to light grey card stock, you can see the faint gold leaves in the photograph above. For a finishing touch I dotted the flower centers in gold gel pen and stamped hello from the Carpe Diem stamp set in Teal Cave. Again, a couple of the flowers were popped up for added dimension.
